Terms and Conditions

Booking

  • 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure the event date. After the deposit is made, the Client receives the Confirmation Letter in their email.
  • The remaining balance is due on delivery of the final photo gallery.

Location

  • The location is discussed during the pre-shoot conversation, where we may suggest options which we believe best suit the concept.
  • Studio rental is not included (extra fees apply).
  • For photoshoots outside Durham, travel costs may apply.

Photo Delivery

Photo Delivery for Portrait Photoshoots

Photos for delivery from a Portrait Photoshoot can be selected either:

  • By the Photographer: the fully edited photos will be delivered within 10 working days from the shoot date.
  • By the Client: a gallery of unedited, low-resolution, watermarked, non-downloadable images will be sent within 3 days. The Client will have one week to select the photos according to their chosen package, and the Photographer will deliver the edited images within 10 working days of the selection date.

Photo Delivery for Event Photoshoots

Photos from an event photoshoot will not require client selection (unless otherwise agreed). All successful shots (excluding duplicates) will be delivered (typically from 50 photos per hour). Event photos will be delivered within 10 working days.

For all photoshoots:

  • RAW and unedited files are not provided.
  • The Photographer will perform light retouching on the photos, addressing minor issues such as skin imperfections and pimples. Significant changes to body shape or age reduction are not performed.
  • Colour grading will align with our artistic vision unless different preferences are specified during booking.
  • Photos are to be delivered digitally through an online gallery. After the Client receives the gallery, they are entitled to one round of minor comments and corrections at no additional charge.
  • Photos will remain available in the online gallery for 3 months before deletion.

Reschedule or Cancellation

  • The Client may reschedule once, free of charge, up to 48 hours before the scheduled shoot date. Any additional reschedule requests will result in the full retention of the deposit.
  • If a reschedule request is made less than 48 hours before the shoot, the deposit will be retained in full to cover associated losses.
  • Photoshoots scheduled outdoors may be rescheduled free of charge due to unfavourable weather conditions, with the Photographer’s approval.
  • The Client may cancel up to 48 hours before the scheduled shoot date, with 50% of the deposit retained and 50% refunded.
  • For cancellations made less than 48 hours before the shoot, the full deposit will be retained to cover associated losses.
  • If the Photographer reschedules the shoot due to circumstances beyond their control, the Client will be offered the option to select a new date or receive a full refund of their deposit.

Additional Services

  • Extra photos: £10 per additional edited photo.
  • Express delivery: 25% of the booking price for 3-day delivery.

Confidentiality

There is no extra charge for confidentiality, as the Client’s comfort is a priority. The Client should inform the Photographer if they do not want their photos to be used in the Photographer’s portfolio. Otherwise, it is assumed that the photos can be used for Photographer’s portfolio.
